The 2024 University of Akron Bliss Institute Buckeye Poll shows that in the presidential race, Republican Donald Trump leads Democrat Kamala Harris by 7 percentage points, 51 to 44 percent. In his book recently published in on June 4, 2024, Herman argues that public access to accurate, unbiased information is essential to a healthy and peaceful democracy. He will share his experiences and insights on the crucial role journalists play in holding government officials accountable.
