The University of Akron High Technology Forensics Laboratory and Resource Center delivers innovative digital forensic services and solutions for government, law enforcement, and the private sector facing today's challenges for professional cyber and digital forensic investigators. The purpose of The High Technology Forensic Laboratory and Resource Center is to provide the services of examining digital technology in the form of computers, digital media, and electronic mobile devices, while conducting research and program development to meet future technological demands and challenges. The methods, knowledge, and skills developed and implemented at The High Technology Forensic Laboratory and Resource Center, are then transferred to existing academic and training programs for Cyber Forensics and The University of Akron Regional Programming Center in the School of Disaster Science & Emergency Services.
