Biography

Dr. Batur has been with UA since 1984. Before joining us, he taught at the Technical University of Istanbul and worked as a Chief Engineer and Partner at Vaccum Plast in Istanbul, Turkey. He served as the Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department for 14 years. Dr. Batur is a Fellow with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is the director of the NSF Tire Center, CenTire.
