Biography

Dr. Tiwari joined UA in 2023 shortly after completing his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. He is currently working for The Timken Foundation Center for Precision Manufacturing (CPM), University of Akron, which is an industry and University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC). His current part of research includes smart manufacturing with industry 4.0, finishing and super finishing operations in consideration of sustainability of the process in addition to the post processing of additively manufactured parts.

Research

Precision machining, surface engineering and tribology, process optimization, advanced manufacturing, finishing and superfinishing operations.
