Biography
Joan Ogg serves as Academic Adviser in the Office of Student Success within The College of Health Professions. She joined The University of Akron in 1993 as an adjunct instructor for the English Language Institute and later joined the Academic Advisement Center in February of 2008. In addition to her work at The University of Akron, Mrs. Ogg has taught at Ashland University and The University of Findlay, where she served as both an adviser and instructor of English in their English Language programs. She also spent two years abroad, teaching English in Kiev, Ukraine.
As an academic adviser, Mrs. Ogg assists students in their educational endeavors. Whether students simply need help with planning their upcoming semester or advice in choosing a career, Mrs. Ogg can provide the help and guidance needed to move students along toward graduation.
