Biography

I am a Clevelander, born and raised, and my heart belongs to northeastern Ohio. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and my master’s in Biology from The University of Akron. I have returned to UA to pursue a Ph.D. in the Integrated Biosciences Program.

For the past several years, Harmful Algae Blooms have been threatening Lake Erie and putting our water supply at risk. I love that lake, and for my Ph.D., I am studying methods of predicting and responding to these HABs.
