Almost all of our CCP students bring a family member with them to orientation. However, you are with an orientation staff member all day, so don’t worry if one isn’t joining with you! Family members are not required to attend, and there is no family schedule for the day. Family members will be with their students all day.
You are not enrolled in any UA classes until you meet with your UA academic advisor, even if the class is showing on your high school class schedule. You will not be able to attend any CCP classes until meeting with your advisor, which is when you are officially registered for the class through UA.

After you enroll in your UA classes with your academic advisor, you will receive an email from the Zip Card office. This email will come to your UA email account. There will be instructions on how to upload a photo for your Zip Card. You can then pick your Zip Card up in Simmons Hall or request to have it mailed to you.
Why do I need to come to an orientation program? Therefore, it’s really important to understand the ins and outs of being a college student and the college classroom.
