We offer a variety of programs throughout the year. Join one that fits your interests!

Women and weights

Join us for 4 classes to feel empowered and confident in the gym! You will learn strength training basics, how to feel prepared on a fitness journey, how to listen to your body and more. Program is free for UA students & SRWC Members.

Wednesdays (Session 1)
  • Class dates: 2/26, 3/5, 3/12 and 3/19
  • 4-5pm in Studio A
Thursdays (Session 2)
  • Class dates: 2/27, 3/6, 3/13 and 3/20
  • 6:30-7:30pm in Studio B

Ziplift

Get ready to lift, compete, and take your strength to new levels with our 3rd annual ZipLift competition. Competitors will get the chance to showcase their raw power across the three main lifts; bench, squat, and deadlift. Open to all fitness levels!

The Ziplift event will take place Saturday, April 26 from 11am-3pm.

Introduction to weightlifting

This is a beginner-friendly program designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of weightlifting in a supportive and structured environment. Whether you are looking to build strength, improve your fitness, or start a new training journey, this program will guide you through essential lifting techniques, proper form, and safety practices. You'll learn the key lifts such as squats, deadlifts, and presses. No experience is necessary — just bring your determination and get ready to lift!

  • Class dates: 4/3, 4/10, 4/17 and 4/24
