What is Anthropology?
Anthropology is the holistic study of human diversity and the application of that knowledge to help people of different backgrounds better understand one another. Anthropologists study all that encompasses being human — how we evolved, how we adapt and how we live.
The anthropology major is multidisciplinary and prepares students for a wide range of employment options or graduate-level studies. An anthropology degree provides students with exceptional tools for use in the modern globalized world.

Anthropology Club
The Anthropology Club is an active student organization that meets the first and third Wednesday of every month in Olin Hall 101, at 5:30 p.m. Anthropology Club members visited Washington D.C. in 2014. In 2013, the Club was involved in many activities, including an overnight camping trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio, and volunteering at Mason Elementary School in Akron, Ohio. The club visited New York City museums in May 2010, and Washington, D.C. museums in May 2011.
