Keynote:

Sarita Venkat | Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Global Litigation & Competition at Cisco

Sarita Venkat is an influential and recognized legal executive working at the intersection of law and technology on behalf of some of the world’s most premiere technology companies. She currently serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Global Litigation & Competition at Cisco, where she manages IP, commercial, and antitrust issues across litigations and M&A deals.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sarita worked at Apple as Head of Global IP Transactions where she managed complex deals and protected Apple’s IP portfolio. Her experience includes litigating patent and complex commercial cases across the globe and serving as a business and legal adviser on litigation and deals involving IP, commercial, antitrust, and dispute resolution. Sarita was also a Senior Director at ServiceNow, where she led technology transactions and also managed intellectual property litigation for Abbott Laboratories.

Sarita is a co-founder of the “Heels of Justice” podcast that highlights women in the legal profession. She is a Board Director of ChIPs (an international non-profit organization advancing women in law, technology and policy) and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley (a non-profit organization advancing equity and justice for low-income individuals).

  • Government employees, faculty and Newer Attorneys (Grads 2018-2022) rate: $250
  • Student and recent grads (2023 and 2024) rate: $25

The registration fee covers: The symposium sessions and CLE materials, hot breakfast, seated lunch with keynote and full-day CLE panels.

We have applied for 7.5 hours of Ohio CLE, including 1.5 hours of professional conduct credit covering Ethics, Professionalism, Substance Abuse, Access to Justice.
