Dr. Kilwon Cho, Ph.D. 1986

Kilwon Cho is a University Professor in the department of chemical engineering and director of the Polymer Research Institute at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea. He is also a Director of the Global Frontier Research Center for Advanced Soft Electronics. He received his B.S. and M.S. in applied chemistry from the Seoul National University, Korea and a Ph.D. in polymer science from the University of Akron(1986). After working as a researcher at IBM Research Center, he joined the faculty at POSTECH in 1988. His current research interests include polymer surface and thin-film, and organic and soft electronics (organic transistors, organic photovoltaics). He has published over 330 journal articles with an h-index of 71. (http://crg.postech.ac.kr)
