Shopping may not be right downtown, but there is plenty of shopping in and around the Akron area such as Summit Mall. Nearby Highland Square offers unique shops of vintage clothing and antiques. If you are willing to travel a bit farther, there are also a few up-scale shopping centers in the area within a 30- to 45-minute drive including Beachwood Place, Legacy Village, and Crocker Park.
