Akron Law Makes Donation to Local Community Legal Aid Office
The University of Akron School of Law, as part of National Pro Bono week, made a donation to the Akron Community Legal Aid office. The $430 donation was given to Sarah Stratton, director of Community Legal Aid on Thursday, Nov. 18. -

Harvey Nelson, CEO of Main Street Gourmet, is Inaugural Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Akron Law and UA College of Business Administration are hosting Harvey Nelson, CEO and co-founder of Main Street Gourmet as the inaugural Entrepreneur-in-Residence. During his residency at UA, Nelson will be speaking at classes and meeting with students, as well as working with the School of Law Small Entrepreneur and Economic Development (SEED) Clinic and some of their clients. -

Forth Annual IP Scholars Forum Held Nov. 5
IP Scholars from across the country gathered at Akron Law on Nov. 5 for the forth annual Akron IP Forum. The Forum’s purpose is to bring together a small group of prominent scholars for intensive, high-level discussions on cutting-edge issues of common interest. Participating scholars may choose to have their papers published in symposium format in the Akron Law Intellectual Property Journal.
