About SENS
The School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences (SENS) equips students to become skilled, versatile, and responsible professionals in the fields of Exercise Physiology, Coaching and Athletics Leadership, Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Sciences. Our courses, labs, professional training, and faculty-student interactions all contribute to this mission.
We offer three undergraduate majors—Exercise Science, Sport Coaching and Athletics Leadership, and Food & Environmental Nutrition—along with three graduate programs: Exercise Physiology, Dietetics GP MPH, and Sport Science Coaching. These programs are designed to align closely with students' career aspirations. Our dedicated and experienced faculty are committed to engaging students through innovative teaching methods, providing personalized mentoring and support throughout their academic journey.
Our labs and classrooms, housed in InfoCision Stadium and Schrank Hall South, feature state-of-the-art facilities with fully equipped, high-tech classrooms and research labs. These spaces offer students hands-on experience and practical training. The Nutrition Center and the Human Performance Lab in these buildings provide nutrition and fitness assessments to faculty, staff, students, and community members.
Beyond our classrooms and labs, students gain experiential learning through field experiences and practicums in the community, working alongside various industry professionals. We invite you to visit our campus to learn more about our school!
