Q: What brought you to The University of Akron?
A: After graduating from high school, I wanted to stay fairly close to home, but also wanted the “college experience.” I researched universities in the area and attended a UA tour and fell in love with the community and everything that the campus offered. I loved the diversity, the available clubs and programs, and things to do around the campus.
Q: What campus activities were you involved in?
A: I was a Criminal Justice Student Ambassador. And I spent a lot of early mornings and late nights at Bierce Library.
Q: What campus honors or awards have you received?
A: I was on the President’s List and Dean’s List, and I was a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: I plan to attend law school in fall 2024, hopefully at Ohio State Moritz College of Law.
Q: What is your favorite memory of UA?
A: My favorite memories are bowling and playing pool at the Student Union, meeting my mentor and instructors who care about you as a student and as a person, and meeting friends and creating friendships that will last a lifetime.
Q: What unique things should we know about you?
A: I love to cook and create unique recipes from scratch. I love to go to different restaurant and taste the food, then get home and recreate the dishes. I also love to sing.
Q: What advice would you give to incoming UA students?
A: I would encourage students to build relationships and get to know people (peers and instructors), because through this new chapter in your life, support is extremely important. Also smile often, live in the moment and create memories.
