1. Why did you choose UA?
I attended Akron Early College High School and graduated with the Innovation Generation Scholarship, along with over 60 college credits earned at The University of Akron. This, combined with UA’s strong academic and business programs, made it the clear choice for me.

2. What inspired you to declare your major?
I heard about the RMI major early on and saw it as a great opportunity to explore the world of finance and develop professionally.

3. What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
While I can’t recall one specific piece of advice that was personally given to me, one quote that has stayed with me throughout my academic journey is from Simon Sinek: "Leadership isn’t about being in charge — it’s about empowering others."

4. Which UA/CoB faculty or staff member has been the most influential throughout your journey?
Professor Hamilton has been incredibly supportive and always pushed me to be my best. Their encouragement and belief in my potential have had a lasting impact on both my academic and personal growth.

5. What experience at UA has changed your life the most?
Participating in Gamma Iota Sigma helped me develop professional and personal skills that I will carry with me throughout my career. Through my involvement, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to different cities and network with students from other universities.

6. What has been your proudest achievement while at UA?
One of my proudest academic achievements at UA was placing in the Top 3 of the AM Best 2025 Student Challenge alongside a fellow UA student. This competition brought together students from various universities to develop innovative solutions to real-world issues in the insurance industry. It went beyond the classroom, offering valuable exposure to industry professionals and a chance to apply our knowledge to practical challenges.

7. What’s your favorite thing about being a Zip?
There’s always something happening at the College of Business, including guest speakers, workshops, and career fairs. These unique opportunities make it easy to stay engaged and keep learning beyond the classroom.

8. What’s your next chapter look like?
I will be attending The University of Akron School of Law in Fall 2025, and I’m excited for the opportunity to grow and thrive in a new academic environment.
