With the goal of encouraging young adults in the Akron area to attend arts events, The University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall is offering free ZipTix to performances this season and next.
The inititiatve is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Many of the Knight-supported performances are at E.J.'s intimate and innovative Stage Door venue and feature artists who are young trendsetters. Others are Main Stage performances, including a concert on April 18 by The University of Akron Steel Drum Band with guest artist Mia Gormandy from Trinidad.
Young adults ages 25 to 40 can sign up at UAevents.com to receive offers of Knight-supported free tickets.
