Spring Brunch presents chicken picatta to chocolate chip cookies
The University of Akron’s Hospitality Club will host its annual Spring Brunch — featuring everything from chicken picatta to chocolate chip cookies — Sunday, March 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crystal Room Bistro in Gallucci Hall.
UA hospitality management students will present their culinary talents as they prepare guests such dishes as lemon pepper cod, roasted red peppers, spring salad, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, gluten-free mousse and tartlets. Throughout the brunch, attendees can indulge at roast beef-carving, custom-omelet and build-your-own waffle stations and in assorted beverages.
Attendance costs $14.95 for students and seniors, and $18.95 for club supporters. Children age 3 and younger attend free. All proceeds from the event fund educational opportunities for UA Hospitality Club members.
Guests receive free parking in the lot just outside the Crystal Room Bistro, on Grant Street (off Exchange Street). Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Zip Cards will be accepted.
