Akron, Ohio, Sept. 3, 2009 - The University of Akron will be participating in National Constitution Day with several days of activities. Constitution Day is a national celebration of the day the U.S. Constitution was signed. The United States Congress passed legislation in 2005 making it mandatory for every institution of higher education in the U.S. to celebrate Constitution Day on or around Sept. 17th on their campuses.
