The Summit County CASA Program is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children. Through this unique program, community volunteers with no particular background are appointed by the Summit County Juvenile court to speak up for the best interest of children involved in abuse/ neglect/ and dependency cases.
Volunteers provide a voice to these vulnerable children and work to ensure each child finds a safe permanent home as soon as possible. If you have a passion for children's issues, the child welfare system, or juvenile law, the CASA program might just be a fit for you. Volunteers are supported through an extensive initial training and their one-on-one work with dedicated CASA staff members.
