UARF Internships
Join the UARF team! The University of Akron Research Foundation is looking for students from all academic backgrounds. UARF assists startup companies and help UA faculty commercialize their research and inventions. You can apply for summer or semester-long internships.
NEOSVF
NEOSVF is a student run non-profit venture capital firm. NEOSVF critiques potential investment startups, give a thorough investigation on each, and vote on which one should be funded. They are looking for the best and brightest grad students to become members.
I-Corps Sites
The NSF Innovation Corps site (I-Corps) is a partnership program that teaches grantees to identify product opportunities from research and offers entrepreneurship training to student participants through the NSF I-Corps Teams program.
Assistantship Program
The Industrial/Community Assistantship program creates internships to place as well as partially fund graduates at local businesses in Northeast Ohio while UA awards matched-tuition scholarships to students and graduate interns.
