Campus Community Garden

The Campus Community Garden was established in an effort to provide healthy, fresh produce to students in need through the Campus Cupboard. The space was informed by students and designed with purpose, the garden all provides a tranquil space for Zips to gather and relax.

Free Little Library
- Grab a book and leave a book at our Free Little Library locate at the Campus Community Garden.
- Books are generously donated by Bierce Library, Brightstar Books and community members.
Garden Rules
- Please don’t pick produce without the permission of ZipAssist or Urban Ag.
- All produce goes to the Campus Cupboard to provide food insecure students with healthy, fresh produce.
- If you notice something is ripe, feel free to contact us!
- Please don’t venture past the Bee signs! The Bees are vital to the Biology Department’s research and pollination of the garden!
- Students and visitors of the space are expected to respect signage where plots have been designated to specific groups or purposes.
- Trash and litter will be correctly disposed of in provided containers.
- No synthetic fertilizers, insecticides or weed repellents!
- Borrowed tools and items should be stored in the designated spaces. If damaged while in your possession, it is the responsibility of the gardener to notify ZipAssist/Campus Cupboard staff.
- Gardeners should attend at least one informational session prior to engaging in the space.
- Issues or concerns regarding the space should be reported to ZipAssist/Campus Cupboard immediately.
