Pan African Studies certificate curriculum

Program overview

• The program incorporates several themes that are present throughout program.
• Some of these themes are: equity, equality, fairness, freedom, and access to public goods and services.
• Certificate will be awarded at the same time baccalaureate degree is conferred.
• Students with baccalaureate degrees will be awarded certificate at the successful completion of the last courses to fulfill the certificate requirement.

Course requirements

You will take 6 credit hours of required courses and 9 credit hours of elective courses.

• All students must take: Introduction to Pan African Studies (3002:201)

Upon completion

At the completion of the Pan African Studies certificate program, you should:

1. Track your course grade completion using the Certificate Course Tracking form and DPR (Degree Progress Report).
2. Download and fill-out:
   • PAS Certificate Class Verification Form
   • Add Pan African Studies Certificate
3. Sign and date both forms.
4. Turn in completed forms to the Program Director for official signature.
