Pan African Studies certificate curriculum
Program overview
- The program incorporates several themes that are present throughout program.
- Some of these themes are: equity, equality, fairness, freedom, and access to public goods and services.
- Certificate will be awarded at the same time baccalaureate degree is conferred.
- Students with baccalaureate degrees will be awarded certificate at the successful completion of the last courses to fulfill the certificate requirement.
Course requirements
You will take 6 credit hours of required courses and 9 credit hours of elective courses.

Upon completion
At the completion of the Pan African Studies certificate program, you should:
- Track your course grade completion using the Certificate Course Tracking form and DPR (Degree Progress Report).
- Download and fill-out:
- Sign and date both forms.
- Turn in completed forms to the Program Director for official signature.
