Summer Symphonic Band

The UA Bands are pleased to announce dates for the
annual Summer Symphonic Band in 2025

Rehearsals:

  • Dates: Monday and Wednesdays, June 9 - 25, 2025
  • Location: Guzzetta Recital Hall
  • Time: 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Concert: June 25, 2025

Registration optional to receive college credit with no tuition cost - only pay fees!

The University of Akron Summer Symphonic Band is open to any and all students and/or community members (former students, band directors or community members who want to play).

  • Literature ranges from standard works for wind band to popular and patriotic selections.
  • NO audition is required
